App user guide
From activating your device to everyday use, and what each account type adds.
Before you start
How RadionicBoost works
Your device programmes water by means of modes. Each mode has a specific purpose, and the device broadcasts it during a programming cycle of limited duration. Modes are organised into groups, and each device has installed the ones its owner is going to use.
Your account type determines who decides which modes your device has installed:
- Basic account You use the modes already installed on your device. To change them, you give management permission to an expert with a professional account, or request a mode configuration from the administrator.
- Advanced account In addition, you choose the modes of your devices yourself, from the groups assigned to your account.
- Professional account In addition, you manage the modes of other users’ devices when they authorise you to.
Your account type is shown in Account, under your email address. The first part of this guide applies to every account; the last two explain what the advanced account and the professional account add.
Getting started
Activating your device
Before using your device you need to link it to your account. You only do this once, and it takes a couple of minutes. You do not need a password: you sign in with your Google account and, if you do not yet have a RadionicBoost account, it is created at that moment.
Along with your device you received an email with two pieces of information: the management link, which opens the app directly on your device, and the activation code, which proves that the device is yours.
- Open the management link in the email. The app will open in your browser.
- Sign in with your Google account. If it is your first time, choose your language and accept the terms and conditions of the service.
- Enter the 8-character activation code and confirm.
The device will be linked to the Google account you sign in with. Before you confirm, the screen shows you which one it is: make sure it is the one you want to use.
Keep the email. You will need it if you ever have to activate the device again, or if you want to pass it on to someone else.
On your phone
Installing the app
RadionicBoost works in the browser, with nothing to download. Even so, the most convenient option is to add it to your phone’s home screen: it opens with a single tap and in full screen, like any other app.
Each time you sign in from the browser, the app itself suggests it once and shows you the steps for your phone. If you would rather do it later:
- iPhone and iPad: in Safari, tap Share and choose “Add to Home Screen”. The first time you open it from the icon you will have to sign in with Google again; this only happens that once.
- Android: open the browser menu and look for “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”. In Samsung Internet, choose “Add page to” and then “Home screen”.
Everyday use
Device control
When you open the app you arrive at Device control, your device’s main screen. At the top, a panel shows its situation: the identifier, whether it is broadcasting and with which mode, and the end date of your subscription. Below is the cycle block: the Programming cycle label with the counter to its right, the button to start or stop the cycle, with the RRM button to its right, which opens the RRM screen, and the list of modes.
While the device is broadcasting, the panel pulses with a blue halo. At rest, the device has no mode loaded and the panel shows Neutral, in grey: the mode you choose is loaded when each cycle starts and removed when it ends.
The status badge shows Transmitting, in blue, while the device is broadcasting, and Idle, in grey, when it is stopped with no issues. If it shows anything else, see What each notice means.
Everyday use
Programming water
Programming water is the device’s main function, and it is done in cycles: the device broadcasts the chosen mode for a fixed time and stops automatically when it ends.
- Choose the mode from the Select a programming mode list. If a mode shows the i icon, tapping it displays a note about its purpose.
- Press Start. The counter begins the countdown and the RRM screen opens.
- Place the container of water on the RRM screen, or on the printed RRM card if you use it.
- When the time is up, the device stops and the cycle is complete. To run another, with the same mode or a different one, press Start again.
If you need to interrupt a cycle, press Stop. To change mode, the device must be at rest: stop the cycle, choose the new mode and start it.
Take great care when placing the container on the RRM screen: an accidental spill, or a very hot or very cold liquid, can damage your phone or tablet. RadionicBoost accepts no liability for any damage caused in this way. With the printed RRM card, these risks disappear.
For the best results, use a transparent container of less than two litres and programme the water you are going to drink at that moment.
Everyday use
Following the cycle
You do not need to keep an eye on your phone. The counter, next to Programming cycle on the main screen and in the bottom strip of the RRM screen, always shows how long is left, and one beep sounds when the cycle starts and another when it ends. At rest, the counter shows the full duration, so you know how long the cycle will take before you start it.
With your phone on silent the beeps do not sound, and the app has no way of knowing. In that case, go by the counter.
During the cycle, the app keeps the screen on. Some older iPhones do not allow this: the cycle still completes, but the final beep does not sound.
If you leave the app and come back while a cycle is running, you will see the notice Programming cycle in progress. It only tells you that the device is still working: when you accept it, the RRM screen opens.
Everyday use
The RRM screen
The RRM (Radionic Remedy Maker) screen shows your device’s programming pattern on your phone or tablet, and the container is placed on it during the cycle.
The RRM screen opens when you start a cycle and when you return to the app while a cycle is running, ready for you to rest the container on it. You can also open it at any time with the RRM button on the main screen, to the right of the one that starts or stops the cycle. While the cycle is running, the header shows Transmitting next to the title. The bottom strip shows the counter, the mode and the Start or Stop button, depending on the state of the cycle. Close, at the top right, takes you to the main screen without stopping the cycle; when the cycle ends, or when you interrupt it with Stop, you return to it automatically. While the RRM screen is open, your phone keeps it on.
Everyday use
The RRM card
The RRM card is another way of programming water: the same pattern as the RRM screen, printed on a physical medium. With it you do not need to keep the app open during the cycle: you start the cycle, place the container on the card and can close the app. Bear in mind that, with the app closed, you will not hear the beep at the end of the cycle.
The card and the screen are equivalent because the transmission does not come from your phone: it is carried out by a radionic device connected to the server, and its output is redirected to your device’s unique pattern, the one shown on the RRM card and screen. That is why the cycle continues even if you close the app.
Download the card as a PDF from Manage this device and print it. To print it at the right size, choose the option to print at 100% or “actual size” on your computer. The printed RRM card should measure about 10 × 12 cm (3.9 × 4.7 inches). Print settings sometimes “fit” the page, scaling it up to fill the whole sheet and leaving the RRM card too large.
Your device
Manage this device
In Manage this device, in the menu, you will find everything about your device that is not part of everyday use:
- Activity: how many cycles have been started in the last 30 days, 12 weeks or 12 months, and with which modes. Tap a mode to see its detail, and Summary to return to the overview.
- Download RRM: the RRM card as a PDF, for printing.
With an advanced or professional account, this is also where you choose which modes the device has installed: see Choosing your device’s modes.
With other people
Delegating management to an expert
If you are advised by an expert with a professional account, you can give them permission to manage your device’s modes. They install the modes that suit you, and you still decide when to use them. With a basic account, this is the usual way to get new modes.
- In the menu, go to Grant management and press Generate management key.
- Give them the management key. It has 6 digits, is valid for 48 hours and can only be used once.
- Once they enter it in their account, they will appear on that same screen, among the users who manage your device.
With that permission they will be able to install and remove modes from their groups on your device and see the activity of those modes, and they will see your name, your email address and the device identifier. They will never be able to start or stop a cycle: using the device is always up to you.
You can give permission to several people at once; in that case, they should coordinate with each other. And you can withdraw it from any of them at any time, from the same screen, with Cancel grant.
When someone changes your device’s modes, the app will let you know the next time you open it.
If you have more than one
Several devices
A single account can hold up to 20 devices. To add one, open its management link, sign in with the same Google account and enter its activation code.
When you have more than one, the menu includes All devices, where you choose which one to work with. The main screen shows the chosen device, and each phone, tablet or computer remembers its own choice.
To unlink a device from your account, use the red button at the end of Manage this device.
An account needs at least one device. If you only have one, that button is disabled; to release it you would have to delete the account.
Your details
Your account
In Account you have your details: name, email address and account type. In Language you can change the language in which you see the app and receive our emails. From there you can also see how many sessions you have open and close all of them except the current one, for example if you signed in from a phone or computer you no longer use, or suspect misuse. It is also where you can delete your account.
If you want to change your account type, tap Request account type change, below your account type. With an advanced or professional account, Request groups change, at the end of your list of groups, lets you ask for archetype groups to be added or removed. In both cases the app prepares an email to the administrator, which you can review before sending it.
Deleting the account erases all your data and releases your devices. They are not lost: you can activate them again with their activation code.
Issues
What each notice means
When something is not working as it should, the app tells you with a notice. This is what each one means and what you can do.
Your subscription has expired. The device stops broadcasting and you will not be able to start cycles until it is renewed. Contact the administrator.
The mode could not be loaded. Try again and, if the error persists, give the administrator the exact word shown in the notice.
Device temporarily blocked
An incorrect activation code has been entered too many times in a row and, for security, the device has been blocked for a while. The notice states until what time; after that you can try again with the activation code from the email.
Link required
The notice reads “To register in the system, use the device’s management link”. Accounts are created when a device is activated, so to register you need to come in through its management link. Open it from the email.
Device not registered or linked to another user
The device you are trying to activate already belongs to someone else. Check that the link you opened is the one for your device.
Device not recognised
The device does not belong to the account you are signed in with. Check which Google account you used.
Maintenance in progress
We are carrying out maintenance work. Try again in a few minutes with the button on the screen.
System unavailable
The app cannot connect to the server, usually because of a connection problem or a temporary incident. Wait a moment and press the retry button.
Contact
Contacting the administrator
If you cannot find the answer you are looking for in this guide, you can contact the service administrator at admin@radionicboost.com. Include your account email address and, if your query is about a device, its identifier, which appears on the main screen and on the RRM card.
Advanced account
Choose for yourself which modes each of your devices carries.
With the advanced account you do not depend on anyone to change your devices’ modes. Your account has some mode groups assigned to it, and from them you install and remove whichever modes you like, whenever you like, on any of your devices. Everything explained so far still applies; this part describes what is added.
Advanced account
Choosing your device’s modes
Modes are chosen in Manage this device. The Groups / Installed modes list summarises, group by group, what the device has installed at the moment.
- Open a group. You will see all its modes, with the box ticked for those already installed.
- Tick the ones you want to add and untick the ones you want to remove.
- Press Update.
Installed modes appear in the Select a programming mode list on the main screen, ready to use. Installing a mode does not start a cycle.
A greyed-out group has modes installed on the device but is not assigned to your account; for example, because they were installed by an expert with management permission. You can see those modes, but not change them.
If a cycle is running, a blue dot marks the mode being broadcast. If you untick it, the app will warn you that the cycle will be interrupted.
Advanced account
Browsing your groups
In Account you have the full list of groups assigned to your account. Open them to get to know their modes and read their notes before deciding what to install. Browsing them does not change anything on your devices.
Advanced account
Searching your groups
When you have many groups, the search box saves you going through them one by one. It sits above the list of groups, both in Manage this device and in Account.
Type one or more words and only the groups and modes whose name or note contains all of them will remain visible. Capitals and accents do not matter. If you type the name of a group you will see all its modes, and you can add another word to narrow down within it.
The filter stays in place as you go in and out of groups, and disappears when you leave the screen or press Clear filter.
Professional account
Manage the modes of the devices of the people you advise.
The professional account is designed for experts. With each owner’s authorisation, you install on their devices the modes you consider suitable, and the owner uses them when needed. On your own devices, everything works as in the advanced account.
Professional account
Before you start
On other users’ devices you can install the modes of the groups assigned to your account. If you do not have any yet, you can still accept management of a device, but you will have nothing to install on it: ask the administrator for the groups you need, and they will appear as soon as they are assigned to you.
The same device can be managed by several professionals. Usually each one works with different groups; if not, you should coordinate with each other.
Professional account
Accepting management of a device
To manage a device, its owner has to give you permission with a management key.
- The owner goes to Grant management and presses Generate management key.
- They give you the management key: 6 digits, valid for 48 hours.
4 8 1 2 0 6 - In Account, press Enter management key and type it in.
If the management key is not accepted, the most likely reason is that it has expired or has already been used. It also happens if you already manage that device, if its subscription has expired or if it already has 10 managers, which is the maximum. Ask the owner for a new management key.
Professional account
Other users’ devices
The devices you manage appear in All devices, below your own, under Other users’ devices, with their owner’s name and email address. Tapping one opens its management directly: a device’s main screen belongs to its owner alone.
You can manage up to 100 devices of other users. To find one, use the list’s search box: search by the device identifier or by the owner’s name or email address. It works just like searching your groups.
Professional account
What you can see
Management gives you access to what you need to choose modes, and nothing more.
Yes
- The device identifier, and its owner’s name and email address.
- The installed modes from your groups.
- Its activity with the modes from your groups, in Activity.
No
- Its status, or whether it has any technical or administrative issue.
- Which mode it is broadcasting.
- Its subscription.
- Installed modes from other groups.
You will never be able to start or stop a cycle. You decide which modes the device has available; when to use them is up to its owner.
Professional account
Installing and removing modes
Modes are installed and removed just as on your own devices (see Choosing your device’s modes), with one difference: you only see your groups. When you press Update you return to the summary, which already reflects the changes, and the owner will be notified the next time they open the app.
If you remove the mode the device is broadcasting, the cycle is interrupted. Since you cannot see which mode is being broadcast, the app will tell you when you save.
Professional account
Stopping managing a device
When your work with a device is finished, press the red Release device management button on its management screen. The modes you installed stay on the device, available to its owner.
The owner can also withdraw your permission at any time. Neither of you needs the other’s agreement.
